Inspired by our best selling yoga mat, we wanted a carrier that made it as simple as possible to pack away a yoga mat after practice with enough room for yoga accessories and personal items, secure storage for a water bottle so it’s not sloshing around, comfortable straps since yoga mats can be unwieldy, and breathable fabric so oxygen can do its thing and keep everything hygienic. 

We arrived at The Essential Yoga Bag. Designed to fit any mat up to 29” wide, it features three exterior pockets for additional storage and an exterior water bottle sleeve for easy access to hydration. Made from sustainable and ultra-breathable cotton canvas, it's perfect for both indoor and outdoor yoga sessions.

Made for an Imperfect Roll

The Essential Yoga Bag boasts a large main compartment with ideal proportions for storage of standard-sized mats (up to 29” wide), offering enough room to comfortably fit your mat without the need for a perfect roll. Additional space accommodates clothes, shoes, or yoga blocks. An extra wide opening makes for easy-in, easy-out access. Velcro closures inside keep your mat in place.

Lots of Storage

The bag includes two zippered exterior side pockets for securing important belongings like your phone, wallet, and keys, and one large exterior open pocket for items that need ventilation, such as towels or pilates socks. A dedicated water bottle sleeve prevents spills and provides quick access to hydration. 

Comfort and Control

The generous shoulder strap drop and wide straps ensure comfort and stability, while the triangular shape secures the entirety of your mat from end to end, preventing it from bumping into others in a crowded locker room.
